With over 13 years experience in the industry, Matt Cheshire is a Yorkshire based entrepreneur who has built a successful business over the years, looking after some of the biggest music, sports and TV personalities from around the world.
Whilst studying Commercial Music Production and Management at Leeds College of Music in May 2000, Matt also worked for Logistik Ltd and became involved in corporate and festival event management. He was soon recognised for his skills in artist and VIP liaison management, and played an integral part of the production and delivery of major public events such as ‘Gatecrasher 2000’ - the biggest live music event to take place that year.
Matt then went on to pursue a career in Television and quickly worked his way up through the ranks working in both sound and as a technical operator. During this time he fine-tuned and developed his technical skills working for both the BBC and Yorkshire Television.
Matt’s passion for working on live events soon drew him back to the industry and subsequently led him to set up Artist Needs and the Needs Group. The company’s ethos is: Delivering an exceptional service to its clients at concerts, festivals and on the road.
Soon after, Matt set up Aviation Needs, an exclusive air charter service that caters for the travel requirements of high wealth individuals.
As the MD, Matt plays an extremely active role in the company, touring the globe on a weekly basis with several of the world’s largest DJs and artists, that the company looks after. Matt’s hands-on approach has meant that the Needs Group continues to expand on its private aviation, close protection and client well-being services.
